With the ongoing escalation between the People’s army and the Junta Military in Lelaipi town, the capital of Mara inhabited area in Myanmar, many people have fled to the jungles and their neighboring villages for shelter and safety.
Myanmar Refugees Relief Committee was formed with the initiative of the Mara Thyutlia Py comprising members from All NGOs, Churches and the Mara Autonomous District Council to provide food,shelter and medical assistance to Refugees who may seek shelter in Maraland.
In response to the entreaty made by the Mara Chano Py to the people of Maraland, a dynamic response have been pouring in, in kind,in cash and in voluntary manpower.
