DRUGS WORTH OVER RS. 14 LAKHS SEIZED – during joint Operation by MTP Br. New Siaha & Assam Rifle on 10th Jan.2024, two held :
In a joint operation carried out by Assam Rifle and MTP Br. New Siaha, illegal Drugs (popularly No.4/heroin) worth more than Rs. 14 lakhs were seized near Siachangkawn, an adjoining village of the Town Sangau and District Capital Siaha on 10th Jan.2024
A total of more than 100 gms. which was conceal in 19 Soap cases, are seized by the Joint team.
Two persons were nabbed in the operation, supposed to be one of the main supplier. The statement of the Drugs peddlers reveal their names as – Chungbika s/o Rungnawng
and Vanbawithawng s/o Suiliannuk of Tialdawnglung.
